USCSA Announces Addition of Florida Youth Soccer Association
The USCSA is excited to announce the addition of Florida Youth Soccer Association, now representing more than one million players and coaches.
The United States Consortium of State Associations (USCSA) is excited to announce the addition of two new member organizations, the Virginia Youth Soccer Association and Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer, bringing its total membership to 19 State Associations representing more than one million players and coaches nationwide.
The decision by both State Associations to join the USCSA reflects a shared commitment to collaboration, modernization, and delivering greater value to the clubs, players, coaches, and families they serve. As the youth soccer landscape continues to evolve, aligning with peer State Associations through the Consortium creates meaningful opportunities to share resources, adopt innovative approaches, and strengthen operational effectiveness while building a stronger collective voice for State Associations nationwide.
The additions come at an exciting time for the sport. Following the tremendous success of the 2026 FIFA World Cup that was hosted across North America, interest and participation continues to grow across the country, creating new opportunities to inspire and develop the next generation of players.
As one of the nation’s largest youth soccer organizations, Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) serves more than 125,000 players throughout Virginia and the District of Columbia. Joining the Consortium reflects its commitment to ensuring Virginia and the DC area has a strong voice in shaping the future of the game while working alongside other leading State Associations.
“One of my priorities since joining VYSA has been building meaningful partnerships that benefit our members while helping advance youth soccer nationally,” said Serkan Örsan, Executive Director of the Virginia Youth Soccer Association. “The Consortium creates an outstanding opportunity to collaborate with other forward-thinking State Associations, share ideas, learn from one another, and work together to strengthen the game for the next generation.”
VYSA’s membership aligns with its strategic vision of investing in innovation, strengthening partnerships, and delivering greater value to its member clubs, leagues, and communities. As the association prepares to celebrate its 50th Anniversary in 2027, joining the Consortium marks another important step in shaping the future of youth soccer across the country.
Serving the region since 1972, Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer works across 36 counties to promote, foster, and perpetuate the game of youth soccer, impacting the lives of more than 120,000 youth soccer players ages 5 to 19. Through State Cup competitions, the Olympic Development Program (ODP), coaching and referee education, and community-focused initiatives such as Growing the Game and TOPSoccer, the State Association is committed to strengthening clubs and expanding access to the sport throughout the region.
“I’ve long shared the vision and ideas of my colleagues in the USCSA through our work within USYS,” said Chris Branscome, CEO of Easter Pennsylvania Youth Soccer. “Now in this crucial time for our sport, Eastern Pennsylvania is joining with this esteemed group to unite and grow the game.”
USCSA President Evan Dabby, who is also the CEO of New Jersey Youth Soccer, voiced his enthusiasm for these two additions that brought USCSA membership to 19 State Associations.
